There Are Two Lessons to be Learned From This Classic Car Story

1953 Chevrolet ? two-door taken at a Classic Car Show

“A father said to his daughter,You have graduated with honours and I’m very proud of you. So I’m giving you this car that I bought many years ago.

But before I give it to you, there is a lesson to be learned here.

Take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them, I want to sell it and see how much they will offer you for it.

”The daughter agreed and went to the used car lot as mentioned. She returned to her father and said, “They offered me $1,000 because they said it looked pretty worn out.” The father said, Now, daughter, take it to the pawn shop for an estimate.

The daughter went to the pawn shop and returned and said, The pawn shop offered her only $100 because it is an old car.’

”The father asked his daughter to go one more time to a Car Club and show them the car. The daughter then took the car to a local club, returned and told her father,”

Some people in the club offered $100,000 for it because “it’s a classic car and sought by many collectors.

”Now the father said to his daughter, ‘there was the lesson.’ “The right place sees the value in you right away.” If you are not valued, do not be angry; **** it means you are in the wrong place.

Those who know your value are those who appreciate you. “Never stay in a place where no one sees the value in you.”

*** So, “Endith the lesson” ***
